Dewey Lakes and Mount Rainer, Memorial Day Weekend
We went hiking on Memorial Day weekend up at the top of Chinook Pass on Hwy 410 in Mount Rainer National Park. We started the trip at 5,400 feet elevation then climbed to above 7,000 before dropping back to the lake at around 6,000 feet. The weather was perfect and the views were incredible. The wind was relentless so the fly fishing was not as good as it could have been. Overall a great late summer hike!

Taking Court to Texas
Scott and his mom took Courtney to Texas in order to meet Cassandra's (Scott's Mom) relatives which almost all live between Houston and Austin. Scott had a fun time introducing Court into the great pastime of bass fishing in Texas and Court got to hang out with the cows, the horses, the roosters, and the dog Duke.
Great Graduation Present!
Well Scott graduated on May 12th and for a graduation present Courtney took him to an all inclusive resort in Cabo Mexico. IT WAS AWESOME! Scott definitely drank and ate way more than the cost of the hotel room each day! IT was a short but great little vacation to chill out and forget everything before Scott has to start studying for the Series 7 in his quest to become a financial planner.

This might be bordering insanity!
maybe you have heard of the annual "Running of the Brides" event in New York, if not here is a nationally published article on it..... Oh and who is that in the picture but Courtney! She made national as well as local news in New York and you can find her on page 59 of In Touch magazine...

The New York Daily News Aritcle review by, Paolo Mottola, "The front page article chronicled Filene's Basement's legendary, annual "running of the brides" event that took place on Saturday, when the store unveiled heavily marked-down wedding dresses. Courtney flew out on Friday night, arrived at the store at midnight, and stood in line with approximately 2,000 other brides-to-be waiting for the store to open at 8 a.m.
According to the report, "The doors at the Union Square store opened, and chaos ensued." Courtney was in the middle of it and became the centerpiece of the Daily News article, which read:
Among the throng was Courtney Creighton, 24, a flight attendant who flew in from Seattle. Her team of four bolted from the pack and grabbed all the dresses they could carry, regardless of size or designer. They built a bunker of gowns around her, a 4-foot pile of silk and tulle.
"I'm sweating," she complained, tossing rejects over her wall of white.
After more than an hour she found it -- a strapless, beaded Kenneth Pole princess gown at 80% off. She'll have to have it altered, but the steep discount makes up for the seamstress fee."

Where it all began
When Scott and Courtney met 3 1/2 years ago she ran into a problem. She really couldn't get over Scott's incredible good looks and was hooked from the beginning....... Well, maybe thats not the exact truth. Courtney and Scott met when he transfered to Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. Scott did his first two years of undergrad at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. They became neighbors and some would suggest Courtney felt bad for Scott because he was on crutches due to a motorcycle accident just months prior... lies, all lies!
